Environmental Health and Safety Officer

We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Officer to develop and implement comprehensive EHS procedures, conduct regular inspections, and foster a strong safety culture. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop Health & Safety procedures.
• Prepare training schedules, emergency procedures, and workplace safety protocols.
• Monitor all compliances.
• Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
• Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
• Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
• Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
• Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
• Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Build a culture of Behavior-based safety.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
• Conduct ISO-EMS Audits.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Minimum 60% marks throughout academics.
