ENT Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck, using diagnostic equipment and tests such as X-rays and MRI scans
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including surgical procedures and other medical therapies
• Perform surgical procedures to treat conditions such as ear infections, hearing loss, sinusitis, voice and speech disorders, sleep apnea, and head and neck tumors
• Communicate with patients and their families by explaining diagnoses, discussing treatment options, and addressing questions or concerns
• Collaborate with other medical specialists, including neurologists, audiologists, and speech therapists, to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medical history, examination results, diagnostic images, and treatment plans
• Participate in continuing education programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance surgical skills and stay updated on advancements in otolaryngology
• Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and compliant with safety regulations
