Engineer - Sales Support Operation

We are seeking a diligent Engineer - Sales Support Operation to join the Sales team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering degree and 4+ years of experience in sales coordination or a related field. This role is crucial for ensuring the sales team has the necessary support to achieve their targets by preparing sales proposals, maintaining documentation, and managing MIS (Management Information Systems).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Sales Coordination: Support the Field Engineer by preparing various sales-related documents, including quotations, proforma invoices, and order specification data. You will also handle new customer additions and coordinate with financial institutions.
• Documentation: Prepare advance, performance, and corporate guarantees, as well as credit approval documents and agreements. You will also manage machine readiness intimation and payment follow-ups with customers.
• MIS Data Entry: Be responsible for preparing and maintaining MIS reports related to sales. You will also assist in AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and LRP (Long-Range Plan) preparation and enter data into the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

Skills Required

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechanical, Production, Electrical).
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in sales coordination or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.
• Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
