Engineer - Product engineering

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Design Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and proficiency in CAD software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Creo Parametric and be skilled in both 3D modeling and 2D drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design innovative mechanical products using Creo Parametric
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality
• Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications
• Maintain and update design documentation and CAD libraries
• Manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes to ensure timely and accurate implementation of design changes
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mechanical design
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Should have good communication skills

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering with 2–4 years of experience in product design and development
• D.M.E with 3–5 years of experience in product design and development

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and 2D drawings
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in mechanical design
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)/Windchill
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly
