Engineer - Design

We are seeking an experienced Engineer - Design to join the Product Development team at Rotex, a world leader in industrial separation equipment. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in machine design and will be responsible for developing new products and executing projects from concept to market.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Product Development: You will develop new products that align with the company's business strategy, following a structured product development process to meet delivery commitments.
• Technical Execution: Collaborate with the R&D and Design Engineering teams to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and design work. You will also be responsible for upgrading 3D models and drawings as instructed.
• Process Improvement: Identify critical design process steps that lack proper documentation and lead efforts to create the necessary materials for the organization.
• Project Management: Exercise discretion in accomplishing project objectives and assist with various projects to meet goals.

Skills Required

• Education: A BE (Bachelor of Engineering) in Mechanical.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience with machine design.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, with a preference for Sheetmetal.
• Strong skills in FEA (Structural and CFD), preferably using ANSYS.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, preferably with SolidWorks, and experience with ERP software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Problem-Solving: A high problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work with mathematical concepts like probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and oral communication skills to present data and participate in meetings. The ability to work cross-culturally is also essential.
• Initiative: You should be a self-starter who volunteers readily, undertakes self-development activities, and takes independent actions.
