Job Description
- Responsible for the product design and development of Ingersoll Rand's Air Treatment product portfolio, including compressed air dryers and chillers.
- Create 3D system models, parts/subsystems, and optimize refrigeration system layouts.
- Design new or improved sheet metal cabinets, copper piping layouts, and optimize components for manufacturability and compactness.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure engineering deliverables align with business objectives.
- Lead design work with platform strategy and develop release plans with full ownership.
- Organize BOM, option items, and part commonization strategy for optimized design solutions.
- Follow IRPX phase gate process for new development and i2V (Innovate to Value) projects.
