Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Operations:

• Execute maintenance and troubleshooting activities in Caster, Tunnel Furnace, and Rolling Mill systems.
• Ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
• Perform breakdown analysis and corrective action planning for HT & LT systems, HVAC systems, and VFDs.

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate hands-on experience with Siemens drives (S120, G120) and ABB VFDs (ACS 580, 800, 850).
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams, including supervisors, foremen, and technicians.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures for plant equipment and machinery.

Planning & Coordination:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and shift activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure work progress aligns with project specifications and quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare daily maintenance reports, logs, and equipment status updates.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and breakdown reports.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports for management review.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures during electrical work execution.
• Possess knowledge of safety systems and comply with all regulatory and site safety requirements.
• Hold a valid Supervisory License for HT/LT systems.

Teamwork & Communication:

• Coordinate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration across departments.
