EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN

 Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments to determine the severity of medical conditions and identify the appropriate treatment approach
• Diagnose illnesses and injuries by ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work, x-rays, and CT scans
• Provide immediate medical treatment to stabilize patients and prevent further complications, including administering medications, performing wound care, and carrying out other critical interventions
• Admit patients to the hospital for continued care or discharge them with proper follow-up instructions and safety guidance
