Embedded Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, design, and develop embedded firmware and software applications on existing and new products.
• Identify and define firmware/embedded system requirements; scope projects accordingly.
• Perform full software development lifecycle: requirements specification, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to understand PCB designs and product functionality.
• Model and simulate electrical/firmware/software design architectures using development tools.
• Specify required tests and qualify test data and measurements.
• Participate in engineering builds and system integration of electronic products.
• Analyze reported problems, debug, and correct software/firmware to resolve customer issues.
• Generate ideas for future products and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain communication with cross-functional departments (project, product, and production managers).
• Travel internationally and domestically as required (less than 10% annually)
