Job Description
- Subsystem Design & Development:
- Experience in designing and developing electrical subsystems or components within the relevant industry.
- Hands-on development and testing of electrical subsystems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Specification Creation:
- Create detailed specifications for system performance, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- 3D Modeling & CAD Experience:
- Utilize Pro-Engineer or other 3D solid modeling software for the design and development of electrical subsystems.
- Experience in creating CAD models, detail drawings, and performing analysis for electrical subsystem designs.
- Subsystem Development Lifecycle:
- Design, develop, and validate electrical subsystems from concept to production, ensuring they meet system requirements and quality standards.
- Technology Experience:
- Preferably have experience supporting the development of electrical motors, batteries, and PWA-related subsystem technologies.
- Participate in related peer teams, collaborating to ensure smooth integration and development.
- Design Review & Documentation:
- Conduct design reviews and maintain thorough documentation (e.g., DFMEA and DRBFM) to support the design and validation process.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and validating electrical subsystems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical subsystem development, from concept to production.
- Proficiency in Pro-Engineer or other 3D solid modeling software for subsystem design.
- CAD experience with a strong background in creating detailed drawings and analysis for electrical components.
- Knowledge and experience in DFMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Modes) documentation and processes.
- Preferably experience supporting the development of electrical motors, batteries, and PWA-related technologies.
