Electrician Journeyman Tier 3

• Install, test, and repair electrical grounding systems according to codes, standards, and manufacturer guidelines

• Plan and execute new or modified installations to minimize material waste and allow future maintenance

• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment; install concealed wiring before walls, ceilings, and floors are completed

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; pull wiring through conduit and splice wires

• Connect wiring to lighting, power equipment, control apparatus, and HVAC units; test circuits for safety and continuity

• Observe installed systems to detect hazards, perform adjustments or repairs, and provide data to Automated Information Systems (AIS)
