Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Supervision and Breakdown Maintenance:

• Supervise the day-to-day maintenance and breakdown resolution of plant equipment, including CNC angle and purlin machines, manual and hydraulic presses, EOT cranes, trolleys, grinders, welding machines, air compressors, generators, transformers, and GI panels.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed promptly to minimize equipment downtime and avoid disruptions in operations.
• Monitor equipment health and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Stock and Inventory Management:

• Maintain minimum stock levels of essential maintenance items, tools, and spares.
• Regularly check requirements and consumption patterns from electricians and fitters to ensure stock availability.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish inventory on time and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Team Coordination:

• Liaise with electricians, fitters, and technicians to prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and operational impact.
• Monitor the effectiveness of repairs and provide guidance on recurring issues or equipment upgrades.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of equipment breakdowns, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports and share with relevant departments for operational planning.
