Electrical System Supervision : Oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems during shutdown operations.
Compliance Standards : Ensure all electrical work aligns with industry standards, safety codes, and client specifications .
Team Leadership : Manage and direct a team of 5-10 electrical personnel for shutdown-related electrical activities.
Quality Assurance : Conduct quality checks on electrical jobs and fill out inspection checklists .
Safety Risk Management : Identify electrical hazards , ensure job safety compliance , and conduct risk assessments .
Troubleshooting Problem-Solving : Diagnose electrical issues , contribute to technical problem-solving efforts , and optimize system performance.
Project Coordination : Assist in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for shutdown projects.
Documentation Reporting : Maintain records of repairs, inspections, equipment performance , and prepare technical reports.

Required Qualifications

Education :

Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute .
OR a Science Graduate with 10+ years of industrial experience in electrical jobs in reputed Oil Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plants .
Retired professionals (up to 60 years of age ) with 20+ years of experience in electrical jobs in Oil Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer Plants are also encouraged to apply .

Experience :

Minimum 5 years of industrial experience , with at least 2-3 years in Oil Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plant shutdown projects .
Prior experience in shutdown activities is mandatory .
Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali , with the ability to write technical reports in English .
Candidates must submit biodata with experience certificates and credentials for HPL approval.

Technical Skills :

Strong knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations .
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, manuals, SOPs, and safety instructions .
Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning .
Strong leadership skills to manage shutdown electrical teams .
Understanding of hazardous electrical equipment and area classifications in petrochemical complexes.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards and requirements .
Physically capable of working at heights and in confined spaces .
Proficiency in MS Word Excel .
