Electrical Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare single line diagrams for power distribution based on engineer-provided guidance and sketches.
• Develop substation layout drawings indicating the location of all electrical panels as per vendor drawings.
• Ensure familiarity with clearance requirements between equipment and around equipment as per statutory regulations.
• Create civil scope drawings indicating foundation requirements, trench requirements, and panel supporting arrangements based on equipment vendor drawings.
• Design layout drawings such as power and cable tray layouts, lighting layout drawings, and earthing layout drawings based on equipment layout drawings.
• Perform lighting design and calculations, including circuit numbering.
• Prepare cable schedules and calculate cable lengths accurately.
• Compile bills of material for various electrical items as per the layout drawings.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in E3D, Sp3D, S3D is preferred.
• AutoCAD diploma with at least 3 years of experience is required.
• 3 to 8 years of oil & gas.
