Electrical Design Engineer

• Prepare and review single line diagrams (SLD), load lists, schematics, cable schedules, DB schedules, and power, lighting, and grounding layouts.

• Perform equipment sizing and selection for transformers, switchgear, MCC, VFDs, MV and LV cables, and UPS systems.

• Design and review cable routing, lighting, and grounding using CAD/3D modeling tools based on site inputs.

• Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.

• Perform material take-off (MTO) preparation and review with detailed part numbers.

• Prepare engineering work packages for project execution.

• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams for design reviews and technical clarifications.

• Perform and review system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and relay coordination using SKM tools.

• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, CSA, and other applicable codes for USA and Canada projects.

• Support construction, commissioning, and field engineering activities for North America projects.

• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth execution.

• Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in all electrical designs.
