Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - Design & Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Scope Definition

• Review contract documents and seek necessary clarifications.
• Prepare the complete scope of work with defined battery limits for electrical and instrumentation systems.

Project Meetings and Coordination

• Participate in internal kick-off meetings with the Sales/Proposal team.
• Attend external kick-off meetings with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate internally with other functions for seamless project execution.

Design Documentation and Engineering

• Prepare all E&I datasheets, bill of materials for various types of panels, IO lists, and electrical load lists as per tender requirements.
• Select power, instrument, and control cables according to project specifications.
• Develop cable schedules, cable tray layouts, earthing layouts, lighting layouts, and wiring diagrams for panels.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive E&I library for future reference.

Vendor and Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors and review vendor drawings for electrical and instrumentation items.
• Prepare inquiries and assist in procurement of E&I items.
• Finalize orders for PLC panels, SCADA systems, MCC panels, instruments, cables, cable trays, and other electrical components.

Education Qualifications:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation or related discipline
