Education Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

• Counselling & Guidance:
• Provide expert advice to students on course selection, career options, and educational pathways.
• Help students understand the various educational programs and their benefits in relation to their career goals.
• Conduct one-on-one or group counselling sessions to understand student aspirations, interests, and goals.
• Admission Assistance:
• Assist students with the application process for various institutions or programs, ensuring they meet all deadlines and requirements.
• Guide students through the documentation and application procedures for scholarships, exams, and university admissions.
• Maintain relationships with educational institutions to stay updated on course offerings, deadlines, and admission criteria.
• Career Counseling:
• Help students identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations, and suggest suitable career paths or courses.
• Provide information about job prospects and potential salary expectations based on chosen career options.
• Recommend skill-building programs or certifications to enhance employability in chosen fields.
• Follow-up & Support:
• Follow up with students after admission to ensure a smooth transition into their educational programs.
• Address any concerns students or parents may have regarding their educational journey and provide ongoing support.
• Market Research & Outreach:
• Stay updated with the latest trends in education, including new courses, programs, and universities.
• Participate in educational fairs, seminars, or workshops to promote educational programs and attract new students.
• Build strong relationships with educational institutions, recruiters, and other stakeholders to offer students the best options.
