EBM/Extrusion Blow Molding - Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Maintenance & Operations:
• Maintain EBM machines such as Bekum, Kautex, Jomar, Magic, Meccanoplastica, or equivalent.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of EBM machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
• Ensure maximum machine uptime and production efficiency.
• Utilities & Auxiliaries:
• Maintain compressors, chillers, dryers, molds, temperature controllers, and material handling systems.
• Coordinate with utility teams to ensure uninterrupted power, air, and water supply.
• Spare Parts & Cost Control:
• Plan and manage critical spare parts inventory.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives through refurbishment and spare standardization.
• Liaise with OEMs and vendors for spares, AMCs, and technical support.
• Team Management:
• Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and fitters.
• Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and support skill development.
• Train operators on basic machine maintenance and safety practices.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM, 5S, ISO, and statutory requirements.
• Support quality teams in resolving machine-related defects and rejections.
• Maintain SOPs, maintenance logs, and breakdown analysis reports.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Analyze breakdown trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and new EBM installations.
• Drive productivity enhancement and energy optimization initiatives.
