Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

12+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, leading technical teams with a strong software engineering background
10+ years of industry experience in system development and implementation in the insurance industry
7+ years of experience in insurance technology projects/programs
7+ years of experience with the Duck Creek Policy Platform
7+ years of experience in engineering, designing, and implementing large, complex system/application architectures
5+ years of experience in performance engineering and optimization of distributed systems in API-based architectures
5+ years of experience leading systems integration projects with multiple internal and external interfaces
5–10 years of hands-on experience with technology stacks such as:
Microsoft .NET, Java, ASP.NET, IIS, Kafka, SQL Server, XML, XPATH, JSON, CSS, XSLT, etc.

Proficient with message bus technologies (e.g., Kafka preferred, or MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.)
Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns and common security patterns (preferably Microsoft Azure)
Deep hands-on experience with:
Duck Creek Policy native API layer,
Anywhere API,
Duck Creek Author,
Building manuscripts,
Duck Creek Express UI,
Platform configuration files, support/debug tooling, and schedule/performance tuning
Experience in system integration with third parties, internal and downstream systems, as well as external product/service exposure to partners or risk aggregators
Familiarity with Data & Analytics technologies:
Data Lakes, Business Intelligence Tools, Predictive Models, and 3rd Party Data integration
Good knowledge of:
Microservices, API Management, JavaScript Frameworks (e.g., Angular), and Cloud Platforms (especially Azure)
Working knowledge of AGILE methodology

Superior communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels
