Dryer Operator / Dryer Incharge – Distillery Industry

Dryer Operations

• Operate rotary, flash, or fluidized bed dryers as per SOPs
• Control temperature, airflow, feed rate, and moisture parameters
• Monitor burner, blower, cyclone, bag filter, and conveyor systems

Quality & Monitoring

• Maintain required moisture content of DDGS as per quality norms
• Record operating parameters and maintain shift logs
• Identify abnormalities such as overheating, choking, vibration, or leakages

Coordination & Safety

• Coordinate with boiler, utilities, and production teams
• Follow safety, fire prevention, and housekeeping standards
• Assist in start-up, shutdown, and routine maintenance activities

• Lead and supervise dryer operations for optimum production, quality, and cost efficiency
• Ensure safe plant operation and compliance with statutory norms
