Configure and fine-tune DLP policies, rules, and alerts aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.
Monitor DLP events, analyze incidents, and coordinate remediation activities.
Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to enforce data security policies.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to data protection controls.
Maintain and update documentation related to DLP architecture, policies, and procedures.
Train employees on data protection best practices and DLP usage.
Stay updated on emerging DLP technologies, threats, and industry standards.
Assist in audits and compliance activities related to data security.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in DLP administration and management.
Proficiency with DLP solutions such as Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, McAfee DLP, or Microsoft Information Protection.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and data classification.
Experience analyzing security logs and incident response.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific DLP certifications.
Familiarity with encryption technologies and key management.
Experience with cloud DLP solutions and SaaS security.
Understanding of insider threat detection techniques.
Ability to develop training materials and conduct awareness sessions.
