Your Next Role
- Strategic Leadership
- Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale urban development projects across public and private sectors.
- Define long-term goals and strategies for urban growth, regeneration, and smart city initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, urban policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Project Management
- Supervise design and engineering of mixed-use developments, infrastructure, transport systems, and public spaces.
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws, environmental standards, and urban design principles.
- Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Build, lead, and mentor multidisciplinary teams of civil engineers, planners, transport engineers, utility specialists, and project managers.
- Promote collaboration and integration across departments in India and regional offices.
- Direct and manage end-to-end urban infrastructure projects: roads, transit systems, utilities, water supply and drainage networks, and smart infrastructure.
- Ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
- Drive recruitment, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing across teams.
- Sustainability & Innovation
- Implement sustainable and innovative design solutions for urban challenges.
- Promote climate resilience, livability, and mobility through resilient urban systems.
- Embed BIM, digital engineering, and smart city platforms into development initiatives.
- Encourage innovation in planning methodologies and design approaches.
- Business Development & Client Engagement
- Lead business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and foster long-term client relationships.
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives for the Urban Development division.
- Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Infrastructure, or Urban Planning from a reputed university.
- Post-graduation in Water, Environment, or Transportation.
- 25+ years of experience in infrastructure planning and urban development, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of delivering complex urban infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international codes, transport planning, urban policy, and utility coordination.
- International assignment experience (India or abroad) – minimum 3 years.
- Contract management and bid process management experience preferred.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with BIM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, project management tools.
- Exposure to large area developments, FII projects, Smart City programs.
- Professional licensure (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
