Job Description

The Role of Director Technical Sales (Pre-Sales)

We are looking Director - Technical Sales for Enterprise Business (Banking & Fintech) of Comviva. As an individual, you will be expected to drive the pre-sales efforts across South-East Asia, India, Middle East & Africa. Specifically, candidate would be responsible for

  • Track developments in Banking domain worldwide and incorporate market requirements in solution roadmap along with Product Managers
  • Work as a functional consultant for Digital Banking, Digital Wallet/Payments, Lending, Rewards & Loyalty and Marketing Automation solutions
  • Proactively brainstorm or conduct innovation workshop with customers and prospects
  • Conduct road shows to create awareness of latest products / solutions / technology / innovations of Comviva in key markets
  • Engaging with customer before release of RFP for influencing technical specifications. Take end to end ownership from solution stitching, demo and technical bid defense.
  • Conducting demos of innovative/disruptive solutions from Comviva to customers
  • Participate in industry events to understand latest technology/market trends and using the same to improve customer engagement
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (Product Management, Business Analyst, Sales, Channels, etc.) of Comviva and create winning proposals.

Desired Skills and Experience

Functional

  • More than 10 years of experience with the experience of handling complex pre-sales process
  • Domain knowledge of Banking and Payments
  • Excellent flair for technology and solution development.

Education and Experience

  • BE / B Tech is essential, and an MBA is preferable

Personal

  • Pleasant persona with good networking ability
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong strategic/business acumen coupled with execution capability
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and matured in conduct and command
  • Ability to understand IT platforms of varied domains such as mobile payments, digital banking, campaign management, customer experience management, analytics etc
  • Fluent in English.
