Director Product Design

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of designers (junior to senior), providing coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Define the design strategy and execution across your product area, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision.
• Partner with Product Management to define problem spaces, scope initiatives, and prioritize work.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design feasibility, scalability, and smooth delivery of solutions.
• Integrate insights from User Research and Analytics to inform design decisions across all stages of the lifecycle.
• Align designs with the Design System team to maintain consistency, scalability, and platform-wide standards.
• Build strong relationships across stakeholders in business, marketing, and content teams.
• Champion design excellence through structured critiques, reviews, and establishing best practices.
• Drive measurable impact on product and business metrics (engagement, retention, monetization, NPS, etc.).
• Innovate using AI capabilities to create cutting-edge user experiences.
• Shape and progress the design and UX culture across functions.
