Direct Purchase

We are seeking a Direct Purchase professional to manage the procurement of critical components like plastic parts, electronics, and PCBs. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can evaluate BOMs, manage vendor relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure timely material availability while maintaining high quality standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Procurement of Plastic Parts, Electronics Components, and PCBs.
• Understand and evaluate BOMs, Raw Material specifications, and vendor capabilities.
• Handle critical planning and perform schedule gap analysis to ensure timely material availability.
• Manage vendor development, negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Maintain MIS reports, SAP-based procurement records, and follow-up schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Planning, Quality, Production).
• Draft professional emails for follow-ups, updates, and escalation.
• Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Monitor and reduce lead times and inventory cost.

Skills Required

• Must be experienced in handling Plastic Parts, Electronics Components, and PCBs.
• Strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and material specifications.
• Proficiency in vendor management and negotiation.
• Ability to perform cost optimization and analysis.
• Experience with SAP for procurement records and reporting.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Strong written communication for professional correspondence.
• Focus on achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets.
