DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with at least 7 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization, and monitoring tools. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles and ensure system reliability
• Manage Docker containers and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS
• Ensure system security through IAM best practices, VPC design, and encryption
• Perform system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline)
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and DevSecOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices
