Project Role Description :
Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
Must have Skills :
DevOps, Build tools like Ant, Maven, UCD, Jenkins, Gitlab
Good to Have Skills :
Selenium
Job Requirements :
Key Responsibilities :
1. Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
2. Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers
3. Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
4. Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
5. Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
6. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
7. Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
8. Planning projects and being involved in project management decisions
Technical Experience :
1 6-10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
2 Experience with DevOps tools and Technologies, experience in tool like UCD, Jenkins, Gitlab, application using Jenkins.
3 Build tools like Ant, Maven
4 Binary Repository tools like Artifactory
5 Automation tools like Junit, NUnit, Selenium JMeter, LoadRunner
6 Code analysis tools like SonarQube
7 Deployment tools like Ansible
8 OS experience in Mainframe/ AS400-/Micro focus, Windows, Linux
9 Scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, and PowerShell

3 Ability to work independently, and effectively communicate with customers
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors degree in engineering, Master of Computer Applications or related field
