Developer (5G Wireless Networks / Core Java / C/C++ / Linux)

Key Responsibilities

Development Engineer (DEV)

• Design, develop, and maintain network device software using C/C++.
• Work on DOCSIS protocols and network device development.
• Develop and maintain software in Linux environments using RDK and Yocto frameworks.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and fix defects.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development standards.

Validation & Deployment Support Engineer (SDET)

• Perform testing and validation of network software and devices.
• Ensure proper functioning of IPv4/IPv6 routing & switching protocols.
• Conduct network performance and stress tests for 5G or DOCSIS systems.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Python.
• Support deployment and integration of software releases on production devices.
• Log, track, and resolve defects using Jira; maintain version control with Git/Gerrit.

General Responsibilities (Applicable to Both)

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize network and software issues.
• Collaborate with peers, product owners, and QA teams for smooth delivery.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain proper documentation of design, testing, and deployment processes.
