Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong engineering acumen and hands-on proficiency in SolidEdge. This role involves creating 3D models and detailed design layouts, interpreting technical specifications, and developing comprehensive engineering and manufacturing drawings, particularly for rotating equipment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong engineering acumen with hands-on proficiency in SolidEdge for creating 3D models and detailed design layouts.
• Experienced in interpreting technical specifications and developing comprehensive engineering and manufacturing drawings.
• Possesses foundational knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, agitators, and related process industry machinery.
• Well-versed in using MS Office tools for engineering documentation, reporting, and data management.

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in SolidEdge for 3D modeling and design.
• Expertise in creating engineering and manufacturing drawings.
• Foundational knowledge of rotating equipment and process industry machinery.
• Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and data management.
• Ability to read and generate system drawings aligned with P&ID schematics (preferred).
• Understanding of mechanical design principles in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 (preferred).
• Familiarity with piping components including valves, flanges, fittings, and basic welding standards (preferred).
• Basic exposure to instrumentation devices like pressure gauges, switches, and transmitters (preferred).
