Deputy Manager - Maintenance & Projects

Manage the maintenance team to ensure machine availability in each shift. Effectively resolve maintenance issues and manage small improvement projects

• Adhere to daily and weekly PM checks to ensure smooth operation of site

• Ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out. Track, plan and carry out missed maintenance activities.

• Manage the maintenance team to ensure machine availability in each shift.

• Optimise equipment to required level of working and quality of output.

• Ensure routine calibration of instrumentation.

• Manage the introduction of new machinery to full installation in collaboration with all relevant departments.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

• Provide technical expertise to the team

• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the functioning of machinery and advise the Plant Head of any impact

• Manage contractors on site to ensure that they deliver required services.

Knowledge of Budgetary Control:

• Prepare the annual Maintenance budget. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects

Predict Spares requirement, Manage and maintain stock of essential spares

Education Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E./Mechanical
