Job Description
- Responsible for complete product manufacturing execution and delivery across plants.
- Support product development with ERC team to implement design aspects during manufacturing.
- Ensure safe workplace by monitoring TRCFR & LTI.
- Achieve quality targets DRR & DRL as per goal sheet.
- Meet productivity MOP targets as per plan.
- Ensure production delivery within scheduled timelines.
- Adhere to FCC & VCC cost targets in goal sheet.
- Maintain high team morale to meet production plan.
- Ensure environmental compliance as per target goals.
- Prepare day-wise production and shift plans based on PPC requirements.
- Plan for necessary tools and equipment to achieve production plans.
- Ensure availability of materials in shop warehouse and escalate SCM issues if needed.
- Ensure workforce availability as per defined shift plan.
- Provide inputs and support to ERC team for product proving and station readiness.
- Implement WCQ initiatives and drive continuous improvements.
- Resolve daily line quality issues by coordinating with line quality counterparts.
- Eliminate NVA & ENVA through line balancing, Kaizen, FPBP, and other initiatives.
- Develop line improvements to achieve desired takt time.
- Ensure minimum line setup losses through process improvements.
- Develop kitting solutions and optimize material movement from supermarket to production line.
- Coordinate with shop logistics/indirect material stores for availability of tools and indirect materials.
- Provide manpower inputs and monitor performance readiness of blue-collar workforce.
- Conduct on-the-job training for new workforce familiarization.
- Drive JH/KK Pillar of TPM through regular training and reinforcement.
- Participate in ICR/ICM cross-functional teams to minimize cost levels.
- Encourage blue-collar workforce participation in QC initiatives.
