Responsibilities Deputy Director – CDC (Career Development Cell)
• Assist the Director in planning and executing career development and employability enhancement initiatives for students.
• Monitor and evaluate structured training programs covering communication, aptitude, soft skills, and professional development.
• Drive student engagement activities, workshops, industry interactions, and career readiness initiatives.
• Coordinate with Heads of Departments (HoDs) to align CDC initiatives with institutional goals and industry requirements.
• Support curriculum integration of employability skills and professional competencies.
• Assist in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, reporting, documentation, and execution of CDC activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Identify emerging employability trends and industry expectations across disciplines.
• Coordinate training programs related to communication skills, interview preparation, aptitude, and personality development.
• Develop assessment mechanisms to evaluate student employability readiness.
• Collaborate with industry experts, trainers, and external agencies for workshops and professional development activities.
• Monitor the effectiveness and impact of CDC initiatives and recommend continuous improvements.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Career Development Cell in coordination with the Director.
Qualification
- Post Graduate in English Language / Management or related field. Additional certifications in Training & Development, Employability Skills, or Career Development will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in higher education, training, employability development, or related domains with a strong understanding of higher education systems and industry engagement.
