Job Description
- Lead and manage the end-to-end demand planning process to develop accurate sales forecasts across product lines and regions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate input for demand forecasts, including historical data, market trends, and promotional activity
- Analyze forecast accuracy and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve forecast reliability
- Facilitate regular demand review meetings as part of the S&OP process to align supply and demand plans
- Use statistical models and forecasting tools to support short-term and long-term planning
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply planning to optimize stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
- Provide insights to senior management on demand trends, changes, and performance metrics
- Develop KPIs to track forecast performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning function
