Delivery Manager - Plant Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Manager - Plant Engineering to oversee the successful delivery of engineering services and solutions within our plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management, operations delivery, and plant engineering processes. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery Management:

• Lead and manage the delivery of plant engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strong Experience in Oil & Gas Domain

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring effective resource allocation, task management, and career development.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, expectations, and timelines.

Risk and Issue Management:

• Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all engineering processes and deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices.

Cost Management:

• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, striving for enhanced efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure that all plant engineering activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in plant engineering and project management, with a minimum of 5+ years in a delivery management role.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong understanding of plant engineering systems, operations, and technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

Preferred Skills:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
