DBA (PostgreSQL/Oracle) in AWS

• Proven experience as a DBA, with specific expertise in either PostgreSQL or Oracle database administration.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, including relational database models, SQL, and database architecture.
• Hands-on experience with database administration tools and utilities.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience working within the AWS cloud environment, specifically with RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with other AWS services relevant to database administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with database automation and scripting.
• Experience with both PostgreSQL and Oracle (even if specializing in one).
