DB and Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Roles and responsibilities include working both on functional and DB Validations
• Creation and maintenance of DB scripts
• Able to understand the mapping sheet and convert those mapping I DB queries for the QA validations
• Able to Build and Execute Automation test with minimal support using Any Functional automation tool.
• Exposure to AWS and tools
• Well known to the overall Cloud Terminologies, tools and usage
• Create well defined and re-usable suites of functional tests for applications and products.
• Good Knowledge of applications under test
• Handling Day to Day activities of executing Test scripts and Test data preparation
• Assisting in the creation and being responsible for compliance to Testing standards, process, procedure and methodology across all test areas.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance processes while writing Test Scripts.
• Peer review of scripts and scenarios done in accordance with QA processes
• Ensuring the 100% Test Coverage and quality of Test scripts/Scenarios
• Execution of tests in efficient and organised way.
• Maintain a current working knowledge of the key business systems
• Conduct detailed defect analysis after each testing phase to analyse correct root cause of defects.
• Think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business
• Experience of working in tight deadlines in a mature complex testing environment
• Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgement of assessing severity of issues. Provide inputs to the Test Leads for Project closure activities
