The Role:

The Databricks Data Engineer / BI Engineer / Data Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern data solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

The role involves building scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL processes, developing data models, and supporting business intelligence initiatives. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data architectures and ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support enterprise data platforms
• Develop and implement data solutions using Databricks and modern cloud-based data architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and optimize data models, data structures, and integration frameworks
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms
• Support data migration, integration, and deployment across multiple systems and environments
• Develop and maintain data-driven insights and BI solutions to support organizational decision making
• Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization of data solutions
• Provide technical guidance, contribute to team discussions, and mentor junior engineers where required
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including data architecture diagrams, pipeline documentation, and process flows

• Skills Required:
• Strong experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
• Experience in data pipeline development and ETL processes
• Solid understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and database design
• Hands-on experience with data integration techniques and frameworks
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and storage solutions
• Programming experience in Python, Scala, or SQL
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree with 15 years of full-time education
• Mini 5 years of experience in Databricks, data engineering, or data platform development
• Experience in data architecture, BI engineering, or data platform development will be an added advantage
