Database Automation Engineer

Must Have

• 5+ years working experience in DevOps workplace automating the IaaC deployment of DBs
• 5+ years of automation experience in database management concepts to include patching, tablespace management, etc.
• 5+ years knowledge of Jenkins, Terraform, Chef and other toolsets
• Worked in a regulated environment (GxP/SoX) and knowledge of change management and regulated processes.

Good to Have

• 5 years of experience designing database automation at an enterprise level.
• Extensive coding experience in DB automation toolsets like Jenkins, Terraform, Chef and other toolsets.
• 5 years of automation experience in database operations / management concepts to include patching, tablespace management, etc.
• Excellent documentation experience to meet regulated environment requirements.
• Good in Writing SQL Queries and scripts.
• Excellent communication skills working with business partners and leaders to drive successful engagement.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS required and degree in STEM field preferred
• 5+ years of relevant technology experience
• Demonstrated experience managing a 24 x 7 global support model is required.
• Demonstrated hands-on Database Administration and automation experience in a large-scale global organization is required.
• Outstanding employee relations skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and prioritize in parallel.
• Customer service orientation, eye for business value, and a bias for action.
• Expert at working with virtual, and diverse global teams of varied backgrounds and cultural experiences.
