Database Administration Advisor - HIH - Evernorth

Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
• Familiarity with UDB, SYBASE, DB2, z/OS and SQL Server RDBMS
• Familiarity with shell scripting, python, and automation techniques
• Familiarity with Postgres Aurora and Microsoft Azure a plus
• Familiarity with developing strong working relationships across the organization while driving database security standardization solutions across multiple database platforms
• Maintain a positive attitude in high pressure situations, with good conflict management, problem solving and customer service skills

Required Experience & Education:

• 11-13 years of experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent degree and work experience is required
• Must have 5+ years of experience in Oracle database management
• Must have 10+ years of experience in Excel, Outlook, etc. Highly skilled and typically requires a bachelor's degree
• Experience with database monitoring and vulnerability reporting tools. (Guardium/Tenable)
• Ability to multi-task, adapt and address issues in a timely fashion in an agile environment
• Ability work independently and communicate clearly across teams
• Ability to proactively identify and lead improvements to ensure security and stability in database environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
