Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support business needs and ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into data models that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Work with database administrators, data engineers, and other stakeholders to design data solutions that meet operational and reporting requirements.
Ensure the alignment of data modeling practices with the organizations data governance and data quality standards.
Optimize data models for performance and scalability, considering both transactional and analytical needs.
Create and maintain data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams (ERD), and other data documentation.
Implement normalization and denormalization techniques based on the system requirements.
Work with business intelligence teams to design data structures that support reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with the data governance team to ensure that data models comply with privacy regulations and internal security protocols.
Identify and resolve data-related issues such as inconsistencies, redundancies, and quality concerns.
Provide expertise in the development of efficient data structures, metadata, and data integration solutions.
Participate in the review and optimization of database structures and query performance.
Stay updated on the latest data modeling tools, technologies, and best practices.
