Role: Data Governance Analyst

Basic Required Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or related discipline)
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in:
• Data governance
• Data quality and preparation
• Data classification and metadata management
• Deep understanding of data governance principles, frameworks (e.g., DAMA), and industry best practices
• Experience with data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data management tools, governance platforms, and databases
• Familiarity with tools for data quality management, data cataloging, and metadata documentation
• Soft Skills:
• Proven ability to engage and manage multiple business stakeholders
• Ability to align with senior enterprise leadership to drive governance strategies
• Strong collaborative mindset with structured problem-solving skills
• Innovative and adaptable, with experience working across global teams

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of enterprise applications such as:
• Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, OneTrust, and commercial platforms
• Proficient in:
• MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Experience working in Agile environments with a LEAN mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate technical governance issues for non-technical stakeholders

Certifications (Preferred)

• Certified Data Governance and Stewardship Professional
• Certified Data Governance Practitioner
• Salesforce Administrator or Associate Certification
• Gen AI-related certification (preferred for forward-looking data strategy roles)

Work Hours

• Shift: 8:30 AM EST – 5:30 PM EST
• Flexibility required to collaborate across time zones
