Data Engineer - Python, Airflow, Snowflake

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Python, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement and optimize data workflows for Snowflake to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data quality and availability.
• Document data engineering processes and maintain best practices for data management.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow management.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing solutions.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with SQL and ability to write complex queries.
• Knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
