Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architecture that facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that high-quality data is accessible for analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support data integration and transformation processes.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow between systems.
• Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Experience on Data Warehouse, tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku, Snaplogic, Colibra, Soda
• Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, data models, and data flows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is desirable.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Snaplogic, other connectors).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Spark).
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
