Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) from multiple data sources into a Data Mart
• Maintain Data Mart, Pipelines and ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Liaise with Data Analyst and Data Scientist by leveraging their expertise in Data Management. Data Engineers are expected to reduce effort of Data Analyst and Data Scientist in Data Management.
• Liaise with Other team members and proactively manage data workloads
• Maintain Single Source of Truth of data required by Analytics Department
• Ownership for Data Requirement of Analytics Department
• Extract and Maintain Unstructured data so that Data Analyst and Data Scientist can leverage Unstructured data to improve Reports and Models
• Advanced Proficiency in SQL
• Ability to understand Business Requirements
• Ability to develop and deploy pipelines
• Evaluating and understanding various data sources and data access techniques.
• Collaborate with different teams in order to understand / resolve data availability and consistency issues.
• Understand business context and take ownership of data
• Experience in designing metadata repositories, understanding a range of metadata tools and technologies to implement metadata repositories and working with metadata.
• Exposure to relational Databases - Oracle or MS SQL (SQL/PLSQL, Database design, Normalization, Index creation and maintenance, Stored Procedures, T-SQL)
• Knowledge of Cloud,BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a big plus is a big plus
• At least 1 year of Experience as a Data Engineer
• Quick Learner ,Flexible and Willing to learn new concepts or programming language
