Cyber Security Specialist- Risk Management

Role Overview

• Serve as a Cyber Security Specialist with strong expertise in Risk Management, IT Security, and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM).
• Conduct risk assessments, monitor vendor and IT security risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement remediation plans and strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
• Support operational risk processes, permanent controls, and contribute to risk reporting and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Third Party Risk Assessments and monitor vendor risk posture.
• Perform IT security risk assessments using standard methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO and NIST.
• Drive remediation plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely execution.
• Support Operational Risk and Permanent Control processes.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and relevant documentation for management.

Experience & Qualification Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, and Project Management.
• Strong understanding of IT risk analysis techniques and industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks.
• Knowledge of banking and financial industry norms, policies, and cybersecurity standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

• CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, CTPR
• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
