Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Support Engineer / Operations Engineer to join our customer support team. This position is perfect for a solar photovoltaic enthusiast who wants to demonstrate their technical understanding of challenges in solar PV plant O&M and asset management. You will be responsible for providing exceptional technical customer support and managing relationships, working hands-on with Apollo™, our patented performance intelligence and health analytics solution.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plant Onboarding & Configuration:
- Configure new plants on to the Apollo™ platform.
- Check all engineering files received from the customer.
- Set up plant topology and configuration in Apollo™.
- Establish data pipeline connections between Apollo™ and the customer site.
- Feature Activation & Validation:
- Activate all product features in Apollo™ related to central monitoring, analytics, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Validate plant onboarding checks and prepare handover files for the customer.
- Create a UAT (User Acceptance Testing) report for all handed-over plants.
- Customer & Technical Support:
- Provide expert technical support to customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including potential field service support.
- Work closely with the customer support manager and operations head.
Skills
- Strong customer support and technical support skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and field service abilities.
- Knowledge of data integration protocols.
- Experience in the renewable energy or related industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of solar and wind power plant operations.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a renewable energy-related field.
- A Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering is a plus.
