CREO Engineer- Casting

Basic Qualification:

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the design and development of heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, or automotive engine components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide CAD support using Creo 4.0 / Creo 7.0 for modeling and drafting of components such as housings, gearboxes, front axles, and differential cases.
• Develop models and detailed drawings for casting components, including sand casting, high-pressure die casting (HPDC), low-pressure die casting (LPDC), and continuous casting processes.
• Design and detail sheet metal parts and structural weldments using Creo Sheet Metal and Assembly modules.
• Create production-ready drawings with a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Work on advanced modeling techniques including surface modeling, skeleton modeling, copy geometry, and inheritance features.
• Perform reverse engineering tasks as required.
• Efficiently manage large assemblies and ensure performance optimization in CAD environments.
• Execute CAD-related tasks within a Windchill Product Data Management (PDM) environment.
• Deliver work independently with minimal supervision and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience (minimum 3 years) with Creo 4.0 or Creo 7.0 modules (Part Modeling, Advanced Modeling, Casting Modeling, Sheet Metal, and Assemblies).
• Good knowledge of casting, forging, and machining processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing feasibility and design for manufacturability (DFM) concepts.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal guidance
