Corporate Actions & Payments Analyst

The Corporate Actions & Payments Analyst is responsible for managing all payment related

operations for securities held in the CSD, including calculation and distribution of dividends,

coupon payments, and redemption proceeds. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant

execution of payments via UAE FTS and SWIFT, proper reconciliation, and management of

unclaimed entitlements, while coordinating with issuers, registrars, custodians, and banks.

Key Responsibilities: -

Calculate dividends, interest, and redemption amounts based on corporate action

instructions.

Verify entitlement lists with registrars and custodians.

Ensure calculations comply with issuer instructions, CSD policies, and regulatory

guidelines.

Process payments via UAE FTS and SWIFT.

Ensure timely disbursement to custodians, investors, and banks.

Handle multi-currency payments and any associated foreign exchange requirements.

Reconcile payments with internal ledgers, bank statements, and custodian

confirmations.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or exceptions.

Prepare periodic reports on payment status, pending entitlements, and exceptions.

Track and manage unclaimed payments.

Coordinate with custodians, registrars, and issuers to resolve pending or returned

payments.

Ensure compliance with regulations regarding unclaimed dividends or coupon

payments.

Participate in process improvements, automation projects, and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Experience: -

Bachelor's degree

2–4 years of experience in post trade operations, custody,

Strong knowledge of corporate actions, and securities settlement processes.

Experience with SWIFT messaging (MT5xx, MX formats) and UAE FTS payments.

Proficient in reconciliation, calculations, and exception handling.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Relevant finance, banking, or securities operations experience preferred.
