TCS is Hiring for Control M Admin

Location: Delhi/Hydearabad

Experience Range: 8-12 years (Relevant)

JD:

Responsibility Expectations from the role:

• Control-M Administration maintain and support the automated batch scheduling.
• Control-M Administrator tasks include installing, upgrading, configuring, maintaining and controlling Control-M Infrastructure.
• Analyse and resolve Control-M System production problems and execute Control-M utilities.
• Create reports using Control-M/EM reporting facility.
• Control-M Administration, installation of Control-M Server/EM/Agents/CM Modules
• Good understanding of Control-M Architecture and Agent/Server Communication
• Good knowledge in Control-M job scheduling
• Good knowledge of all the different options/tab in Control-M GUI
• Knowledge of different type of job scheduling like File Watcher, OS, Web Service, Command line etc..
• Experience of handling Priority P1 and critical issues related to Control-M.
• Knowledge on integrations using plugins and API based connections with other infrastructure services.
• Ability to maintain, upgrade and patch the Control-M environment and suggest recommendation for value addition.
• Document technical solutions and build SOPs for the monitoring team.
• Previous experience of Control-M Migration

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Several years of hands-on experience with Control-M administration and support, including complex workflow design and troubleshooting.

2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Control-M scheduling, job design, and integration with diverse platforms and applications. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, PowerShell) for automation tasks.

3. Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to analyse complex issues, and provide effective solutions under pressure.

4. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.

6. Certifications: Relevant certifications in Control-M administration and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification are often preferred.

7. Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest Control-M features, industry trends, and best practices.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional certifications in Control-M and related technologies are a plus.
