Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contingent Workforce Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our Contingent Workforce Program. This role will work closely with internal teams, hiring managers, and our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure smooth execution of contingent worker processes, resolve operational issues, and support compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to deliver a seamless and efficient contingent workforce experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Contingent Workforce Program.
  • Support hiring managers with contingent workforce (CW) guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Review and approve new worker requests in alignment with internal policies.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for issue resolution related to contingent workers.
  • Ensure efficient onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the MSP.
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., HR, Procurement, Legal, IT) on audits and project-based initiatives.
  • Maintain and update process documentation regularly; ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with program standards and support audit readiness efforts.
  • Continuously assess and improve operational processes for greater efficiency.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skillset:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • 23 years of experience in contingent workforce management, staffing coordination, or HR operations.
  • Knowledge of contingent workforce processes and vendor management models.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow (preferred).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working with dashboards, reports, and data management tools.
